The LA 54, an old brewery in Friedrichshain, is a place that represents Berlin as it is seen through an artist’s perspective. It reflects the charm and inspiration of the city and, heavily
marked by time, is morbidly dedicated to decay.
Is also this chapter coming to an end? Halina Hildebrand immersed herself into the situation and this place and succeeded in capturing a sort of melancholy – combined with a fragile beauty ‒ of this place and it’s people who, through music, art, and performance, had created a popular meeting spot for artists from all walks of life.
