New exhibition, new pictures, new spaces – ZwischenRäume…

The accumulation of bad news, fake claims and insecurities
and uncertainties in today’s world affect me deeply.
This feeling also has an effect on my work and reminds me
of Horst Hildebrand, who once wrote:

“If I am in a forest – and a forest (they say), consists of trees, then I am (strictly speaking), not in the forest, – I am in its interspaces!”

What does that tell me? When I take photos in the forest – I am in the spaces in between. They mark my free space, they offer orientation when choosing the path to new insights. I show what I have found in the new exhibition.

The Kulturbrennerei wrote about the exhibition:

Whether young, old, alive or seemingly dead – through the photographer’s gaze, the viewer experiences new perspectives on the forest with all its facets through to – most recently – her impressions of the burnt forests here in Brandenburg.

At the exhibition opening, the artist will read poetry on the subject of forests. The new Ukrainian choir in Genshagen “Dzherelo” will provide the musical accompaniment.
