in conjunction with Hildebrand Projects
Neukölln is the center of Kreativwirtschaft (cultural industry). Creative people with many different national backgrounds and ages work together and, through their projects, become the engines that power change in this district of Berlin.
This change is possible thanks to countless initiatives and programmes which have the goal to bring together members of communities and networks and to expand their reach. That only happens if people do something! This book is dedicated to exactly those people who I captured in portraits.
It is about a lively display of the protagonists and events that have contributed to this recent change in Neukölln.
The book will be available in Blurb Bookshop in November, 2012.
